The GLTA Executive Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Sydney, Australia will now be a stop on the 2010 GLTA World Tour.
The Mardi Gras Championships will be played February 19-21, 2010 ; Co-Directors Dean Matterson and Brian Wilson, and the entire Tennis Sydney group invites you to travel “Down Under” to experience all that Australia has to offer.

Feb : Clay Court Classic, Ft. Lauderdale, FL,
June: Rocky Mountain Open, Denver, CO
July: King Ludwig Cup, Munich, Germany
November: Houtex, Houston, TX
| The GLTA Board evaluated the ranking system recently.It looks that all changes per 1/1/08 worked fine in making a good balance in the GLTA rankings. The only aspect which needed to be revised are the points for Round Robins. Starting 1/1/09 the following rule applies:
Every win (except by default) gives 1x points. That also counts for an eventual semi-final or final. Winning the event gives 1x champions bonus points. The Runner Up (or nr 2) in the event will gain 0,5x bonus points |
